Superfast Broadband for Primary Schools

The Challenge

Both Beeston and Garvestone Primary Schools were identified by the Department of Education, as having very poor internet connectivity due to their rural setting. National infrastructure in the area was inadequate and had no plans to be upgraded for quite some time.
The challenge for InTouch Systems was to deliver superfast fibre broadband connections to both Beeston and Garvestone Primary School, allowing them to receive high quality connectivity with consistent and fast speeds.

The Solution

InTouch Systems installed its own dedicated fibre to both Primary Schools, increasing the internet capacity at the schools to allow children to learn more effectively. In addition to, this InTouch Systems also provided a free community fibre broadband connection, to both Garvestone and Beeston Village halls. This not only gives the local community access to internet whilst using the community hubs, but also allows InTouch Systems to extend their fibre network into the two villages to service the wider communities and residents of the two villages.
